Simplifying Pension Verification.
myPensionID (myPID) is committed to helping pension holders securely manage and verify their pensions while assisting providers in maintaining up-to-date member data. With over 107 countries activated and serving more than 100 pension providers, myPID offers a secure digital solution that eliminates the need for physical document certification, using biometric technology for rapid identity verification.
Despite its existing functionality, myPID’s original application required redevelopment to enhance user experience, integrate modern verification technologies, and resolve UX challenges. Users frequently reported difficulties with the selfie verification process, as well as needing to uninstall and reinstall the app to maintain functionality. To address these issues, myPID sought a streamlined, intuitive, and technologically refined application to better serve its users.

Seamless Digital Pension Verification.
We fully redeveloped myPensionID’s mobile app, enhancing usability and integrating advanced ID verification. Our Phase 1 focus was delivering an MVP that streamlined registration and verification. We integrated IDVerse’s OCR solution, enabling users to upload identification documents seamlessly. Biometric selfie verification was added for enhanced security and authentication. Built in Flutter, the app ensures a smooth, cross-platform experience on iOS and Android.
To enhance security and maintain accurate pension records, we implemented a proactive alert system. Users receive periodic notifications prompting them to verify pensions flagged by myPID, ensuring that their linked pensions remain accurate over time.
A major feature of Phase 1 is the re-authentication mechanism, which enhances security when users update personal or pension details. When changes require verification, the system prompts users to retake a selfie, ensuring the legitimacy of any updates. This seamless process, managed by IDVerse, provides an added layer of protection while maintaining a frictionless experience for users.

Since myPensionID already had an established brand identity, our focus was on enhancing their existing branding, refining their colour palette and typography, and introducing new UI elements to modernise the app’s look and feel. The primary goal was to ensure a clear and intuitive user experience, particularly considering the diverse age range of users.
By refining the UX/UI and prioritising accessibility, we delivered a user-friendly, visually appealing, and highly functional app that streamlines pension verification.
