Revolutionising Skincare with SKIN.

SKIN is a pioneering beauty marketplace app connecting users to over 2,400 brands and 160,000 products, redefining skincare shopping. Featured on BBC's Dragons' Den and praised by top publications, SKIN offers personalised price-drop alerts, product wishlists, and a barcode scanner for seamless inventory updates.

The concept was created by co-founders Ben Barter and Flinty Bane, who identified a gap in the market for a platform with unbiased recommendations and money-saving features. They partnered with Arch to bring their vision to life. Through Arch’s expertise in digital development, SKIN evolved into a user-friendly app that empowers beauty lovers to make smarter, budget-friendly choices, setting a new standard in skincare innovation.

In the early stages, SKIN and Arch focused on building a beauty community through social features. In phase two, we refined the app’s direction, shifting to a streamlined, user-focused approach. Features were tailored to prioritise marketplace and product management functions. This strategic shift helps users find the best deals and manage skincare collections. The app remains engaging and user-friendly while enhancing its core functionality. Since SKIN’s inception in 2021, Arch has played a pivotal role in its growth, providing expertise in digital product development. SKIN was featured on season 21 of the hit BBC1 TV series, Dragons’ Den. Their pitch piqued interest, with positive comments from all the Dragons, but it was Sara Davies from whom Ben and Filnty secured a £50,000 investment.
