The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) represents over 1,000 UK companies, providing industry guidance, networking events, and legal support. However, their existing digital platforms were fragmented and outdated, creating inefficiencies across the organisation.

Key challenges included:

• A legacy website built on Drupal that was difficult to maintain and prone to security vulnerabilities.
• A disjointed CRM system (CIVI CRM) that did not align with their website, complicating internal workflows.
• A manual, paper-based awards judging system, requiring excessive administrative effort.
• The merger with the Institute of Data and Marketing (IDM) in 2015, which required seamless integration of data and processes.
